2025 Favorites

Every year I sit down to write this blog post and I think, "this was the best year ever!" For 8 years, each one has just gotten better and better, and I couldn't be more grateful. I have the absolute best clients, friends, and models who have the most perfect horses, take me to the coolest locations, and enjoy the most gorgeous sunsets with me.

A few noteworthy experiences in 2025 for me:

I traveled across the US capturing horse girls in 11 different states. A few of my favorite locations were... The epitome of a dream barn in Wellington, FL with Rebecca C. The perfect ranch in Sanger, TX with Kirstie and Jake. Dimnent Chapel in Holland, MI with Jenna B. Adelman Peony Gardens in Salem, OR with Brooke B.

I also got to photograph some horse gals and guys, internationally! In March, I traveled to Costa Rica, visiting La Fortuna and Punta Islita. Riding and photographing in Punta Islita with McKenzie Graham of Blue Zone Equestrian (and her amazing friends) was another top favorite location/experience. In December, my husband and I took my mom and 3rd grade teacher to South Africa on a horseback safari. We met my lovely clients and friends, Yoalis & Tony, and spent 7 days riding, photographing, and laughing at Ants Reserve in Waterburg, SA.

2025 delivered 5 new magazine covers for JJP, and I'm so so grateful for those opportunities! Magazine covers are extremely competitive since there are such limited positions for each magazine per year, so it was such an honor to receive those covers.

2 of my sessions this year were published in fashion magazines. Making "regular horse girls" feel like supermodels is one of my absolute favorite parts of my job!
