Amanda Perkowski with her two sponsored dressage horses, Belafonte and Backstage. Belafonte is a 7 year old gelding by Belissmo M, Amanda plans to compete with him in the Developing PSG. Backstage is the bay, and he's a 5 year old gelding by Borsalino. She plans to compete in the FEI 5 year old classes with him this year! Amanda is a rider at Helgstrand Dressage USA in Wellington, Florida at Windsome Farm. This was actually my first time ever seeing real dressage horses in action... after nearly 20 years of riding horses and almost 4 years of photographing them, I'm not sure how it took this long! After seeing how amazing Belafonte and Backstage are, I for sure want to hang around more dressage folks in the future.
