The amazing, Davie Stokes and her equally as amazing horse, Dry, were the absolute perfect models for Lauren Anderson (fellow equine photographer and owner of Lauren Anderson Photography) and I at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah! Davie and Lauren used to do college rodeo together, so when I asked Lauren if she wanted to help me set up a styled shoot at the salt flats, she knew exactly who to ask. Davie did a lot of the work for this shoot: she did her own hair and makeup (wonderfully, might I add), and she also styled all three of her looks (with my help, but she owns all of those amazing clothes!!!!) I could not be more happy with the outcome of these photos! Turns out we each made quiet the commute to come to this spot too... I flew in to Salt Lake City from Wenatchee, WA and then drove 1.5 hours to the salt flats. Lauren drove three hours from Logan, UT. And Davie and her sister, Lexie drove FOUR hours from Price!! Thankfully, Davie got some pretty cool photos of her and her heart horse out of it!
